This Barnes & Noble pre-order sale ends January 25
25% off on pre-orders and an extra 10% off if you're a B&N member
I won’t be sending out a lot of stuff like this during this transition to more frequent newsletters, but this seems like a good deal to me, and even though the B&N website says the offer ends January 26, it’s effectively only good for today, January 24, and tomorrow, January 25, according to an email I received from my publisher.
The pre-order code is PREORDER25 in case they remove it from the site for some reason.

I get nothing out of this, in case you’re wondering. I don’t even have a book for you to pre-order right now (insert sad face)! But there are always lots of great books, and I’ve become kind of a fan of Barnes & Noble for managing to hang tough during these days of the Amazon empire.
From my publisher:
Beginning today, January 24th and ending tomorrow night, January 25th, Barnes & Noble is hosting a special promotion for all books currently in pre-order status.
During this period, a substantial 25% discount is available on preorders placed on January 24th and 25th. This is an excellent chance to boost interest and sales ahead of your book's release.
Let me know in a comment if this kind of “announcement” annoys you. I emphasize, however, that I’m not one to help big companies do their marketing, so I expect this kind of thing to be rare.
Happy reading!
